The Attunement Altar is a multiblock structure that can attune players and various items to the Constellations. Players can only be attuned to Bright Constellations which will give them access to the perk tree and dictate which Root Node they will start from.
Construction[]
The entire structure that makes up the Attunement Altar is 19x19 and 6 blocks tall. In total the structure takes about:
- 225 Sooty Marble
- 80 Marble Arches
- 12 Marble Pillars
- 4 Chiseled Marble
- 4 Runed Marble
as well as the main altar block in the very center.
Using the Altar[]
In order to make use of the altar Spectral Relays are needed, and placement of them must be done in the pattern of the desired Constellation. The easiest way to do this is to simply hold a Constellation Paper in your hand/offhand which will cause blue-ish particles to appear in the shape of the Constellation. Once all of the Relays are set up and the arranged Constellation is in the sky, the Altar will light up, taking its shape. If it is a Bright Constellation the player can step onto the main altar block and a small cutscene will occur. This will attune the player to this Constellation and give them access to various perks in the Perk Tree. If a Rock Crystal, Celestial Crystal, Crystal Tool, or Mantle of Stars is thrown onto the main altar block a similar cutscene occurs and attunes the item to the Constellation.
